August 2004Pantera

Imagine cruising on your skateboard with as much style as a 1930's custom coach and you have the Pantera. As you carve down freshly paved streets, nothing pleases the imagination more than the sliver streak that the Pantera leaves in its wake.

Sleek, just like you

Modern commuter skateboards are designed with exposed wheels, to allow greater maneuverability. This exposes the rider to debris that was previously blocked by the skateboard deck. The sleek teardrop fender design is a sexy flashback to classic auto design and prevents this debris from spoiling your smooth ride.

Functional Prototyping

Using 3D modeling in SolidWorks, components for the Pantera were refined and realized in a fully functional prototypes. Modern meets classic when CAD results in polished sand cast aluminum fenders. Skateboard design has been a key area of interest for Vestal designers for some time - many of whom make use of such lightweight, zero-emissions transportation on a regular basis.
