WearingChange.org Conference

Vestal collaborated with Sarah Woo at Yale to organize a series of talks on ecological design in the fashion and apparel industries. The conference, sponsored by both the Yale Student Environmental Coalition and Commons, an eco-fashion label at Yale, needed a website to publicize its lectures featuring speakers from Nike, Patagonia, Futureproof/ed and Loomstate.

Vestal stepped in with a fast and elegant design which was updated regularly as the list of speakers grew. Vestal also set up a conference blog for announcements and photos, and developed a visual style for the conference, including flyers and posters.

About Vestal Design

Vestal Design is about creativity. Our designers come from a diverse background of architecture, art, programming, engineering, history, and environmental studies. Our three independent divisions regularly exchange ideas and share projects.

At our studios we emphasize a culture of off-the-wall excitement, where designers are free to argue about fonts, build prototypes, and pursue their own projects. Our strong belief in process and well-principled design, as well as our commitment to environmental and social goals makes us a highly effective, if eclectic, team.
