August 14th, 2007

One of our most recent clients, GreenVolts has just launched their new site, which we spent the last month or so designing. In their own words:

GreenVolts, Inc., based in San Francisco, was founded in 2005 to deliver solar power at fossil fuel costs. Through low cost and high efficiency, GreenVolts can access large markets previously inaccessible to solar power. GreenVolts changes the economics of solar energy.

Please check it out! We welcome any feedback.

When you click on a secondary page the nav breaks. In Internet Explorer. (boo!)

Thanks Marc- we had identified this issue last week, and had one of those moments where everyone thought the next guy over had fixed it.

On a side note, we develop exclusively in Firefox because we find that we have to develop all sorts of inane “fixes” for Internet Explorer (boo!), so we prefer to write good code first, then break it, instead of the other way around. Oh, and Internet Explorer has to be the least friendly developer’s environment ever (Safari’s a close second though). If we didn’t have IE to worry about, I think we could easily slash project budgets by a considerable amount.

Not associated with this post, but am hoping the Lima folks are OK.

Simple and Clean. Some of the headings look a little horsey right now without body text (ie in Newsroom) but I imagine this will improve as more content is added. Great work!

Shelley, just saw your note, thank you for asking, everyone was fine.
