I StumbledUpon this excellent online book about traveling. The books seems to have been written at least 5 or 6 years ago, so it’s tagline of $25/day might not be as valid anymore (the author cites an exchange rate of $1.01/1€). Although I’ve only gotten through a few chapters so far, the advice is dead-on, prudent and socially concious. For example, the section on haggling and begging is very interesting to read and ponder.
