Google has teamed up with Earth Day Network to provide a Google Maps -based directory of green businesses and options across five popular US cities. Also included is a Google Groups -based forum to discuss green “experiences” visitors have had.

I was just in the Cinque Terre where they actually certify and award tourism businesses that have green practices. What’s more, since the Cinque Terre is a national park/five towns in Italy, they recommend only these places at the TI.
