This book by Daniel H. Wilson, a recent PhD graduate from the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon, is pretty self-explanatory. But I love the idea that someone has given serious, scientific thought to what would happen if you were to get burnt by a robot laser. * Ahh *, I <3 being a nerd.
