One of our Vestal Affiliates, UCSD Professor Natalie Jeremijenko, has been working on a project called OneTree(s), a social-scientific experiment which takes genetically-identical, indigenous walnut tree saplings and pairs them in a variety of public locations in the San Francisco, Bay Area. As they develop, they will act as environmental texts, recording the minute differences of “nurture” in their respective locations.
Now we have made a
map of the OneTree(s) locations, so you too can to visit them and see how they are doing. (*Google Earth needed)
