Ever think the 3-d virtual earth program, Google Earth, could be used to visit the moon, rescue people in natural disasters, or act as a social commentary? If not, let us introduce you to our latest mini-project: the Google Earth Notables page.
People from all over have been using Google Earth’s revolutionary and versatile “kml” file format to visually display information in the new program. After some observing, we’ve put our favorites in one place to share with all of you. We hope you’ll be inspired, too. Enjoy!
