330 MPG Car
January 23rd, 2006
Accelerated Composites is prototyping a car that will achieve 330 miles per gallon, and cost under $20,000. Certainly good gas mileage – but aesthetically it’s no good. They could design one for public transportation; long-distance buses would benefit especially. Certainly bus companies would be interested. But to sell to consumers they’re going to have to work on their image.
At the same time, I love how it resembles an old-fashioned horse carriage, or even an old Bugatti.
