Pixar, the digital animation company run by Steve Jobs (of Apple fame), is known for treating its employees very well; as a result of the success of their films, they have a very nice new-ish campus – where animators are allowed/encouraged to create their own spaces. Some work in small cottages, pictured above, instead of in cubicles, others design theirs from scratch.
