Advertising King (for now)
September 25th, 2005First, it was the enticing and linguistically fascinating SubservientChicken.com.
Now Burger King makes fun of the Atkins Diet, Self-Help books, and McDonald’s attempt to save its image in a post-Super Size Me world, with its new Power-Sitting advertising campaign which also makes a suprisingly relevant social commentary on the eating habits of Americans.
The irony, of course, is that I would blame fast food chains like Burger King for perpetuating a culture of Americans don’t have the time for sitting down to function. Weird.
