This bike-generator was developed by Inveneo as an auxiliary power source for a VOIP phone system to be used in the third world. The main power source is solar, but on cloudy days or at night, 15 minutes of pedaling can supply enough power for an hour long phone conversation. Read more at InfoWorld:
