Lego’s Solar Cell is “built tough to withstand student use.”
Since their creation, Legos have always been a toy we’ve loved. What is perhaps largely unacknowledged, however, is their impact on growing minds. Most engineers I know cite Legos as a major reason (next to stellar teachers) they went into the field. Legos just seem to stimulate the mind in some fantastic ways.
This is particularly enjoyable when you discover Lego’s Education site, where schools and budding minds alike can download information, find scientific challenges, and purchase gear. Best part is- all of their energy products promote sustainable design. From robots to renewable energy, Legos are continuing to clear the path for young minds.
