Harry Potter comes to MIT

July 21st, 2005

MIT has a history of putting up creative hacks (funny, benign pranks) on their buildings in order to commemorate various events. This week, the Great Dome got a lightning bolt in honor of Harry Potter’s sixth book.

Other recent hacks on the Dome have included a Wright Brothers flyer for the 100th anniversary of manned flight and giant red socks for the Red Sox World Series Win.

this is actually a good moment to mention that this very strange little band came and performed at Wesleyan called: Harry and the Potters.

    Certainly worth checking out.
