I just found this photo while google image searching. I think it has to do with greenhouses, but it’s a fascinating object, much like those found halfway through “morphs” in the Metamorphosis animation. Click to enlarge.

i just like the fact that it’s called a Mr. Heater!

We had one of these when I was a kid. It’s a propane space heater that we used to thaw the pipes in winter.
