...from MARS! Just kidding, this guy makes wind-powered giant walking and waving creatures from PVC and paper as an art project. It’d be awesome to motorize one of these and go walking through downtown Palo Alto, trampling on yuppies.

Theo Jansen, at first I thought was nuts for thinking that these creatures would colonize on the beach…. but this man is beyond genius! If they can truly live off of stored wind in old bottles and navigate through obstacles without any computer or fuel, think how these inventions could benefit our way of travel or even the machinery used in industrial settings….
This man is indeed the new da Vinci.
