A National Library of Medicine project first established in 1989, Visible Human took one male and one female body donated to science and, with the help of University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, digitally mapped them via one millimeter increments.Although it seems you need a liscense to access the project for full use, several websites seem to be hosting pieces of the project for your viewing pleasure (such as the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne).
