MIT Museum

February 23rd, 2005

If you’re ever in Boston, you should definitely stop by the MIT Museum. While relatively small and little-known, the MIT Museum packs quite a punch. From artistic mechanical engineering sculptures like those of Arthur Ganson, best known for his walking wishbone, to scientific photographs like Edgerton’s above (see MIT kids shot more stuff in slow-mo) and the ever-popular “MIT pranks vault,” this place is overlooked delight and an inventor in the world of peaceful integration of science and art.(Sorry to toot MIT’s horn: but this stuff is sweet. I suppose that’s what you get when you mix art, science, and lack of sleep together!)
